ZONE 19G-5 HOME PAGE

Contains Links to Lions Club MD19G-5 Zone & Club Newsletters July 2008 thru July 2009

This page and the links within and the links within them are for easy communication of newsletters rather than a lot of individual e-mails using a lot of memory on my and the members' of my Zone 19G-5 computers. There are other web pages (maybe some with links herein) that will provide much more comprehensive information about the wonderful over 1,300,000 worldwide member Lions Club International of which we are all members serving humanity comprising a very small part of. It is not intended to be the best source of information to visitors to find out about us but we welcome your interest.

I'm hoping the officers within my zone will take a look at MD19 webs existing so far outside our zone by click on underlined link below  for inspiration. For instance Hoquiam's web is a hard act to follow.

Remember from within some of many links below (be sure to scroll to bottom of this page) to just keep hitting  your browser's return button or the sleeping lion to get back to this page

Subject: Contests & Awards

Dear Zone chairpersons:  Could you please contact the clubs in your Zone that have websites. Encourage them to enter Contests & Awards.  The rules are very simple and they might just win!  Not to mention it will exposure to their sites!

Also if you could please remind each club the deadline for entering the contest is February 27.  It might be nice to tell each club that all individuals who participate in these contests will have their names placed in a drawing.  The prize will be very nice!!!  You don't win to have your named placed in this drawing, you just enter and your name is placed.  All of us are Winners in my eyes.

We have had a very low response to contests at this time, it would be wonderful if I can get your help to promote it.  It will make Friday night a lot more fun if we can get some entries for Musical Entertainment and Tall Tales.  Also don't forget to wear costumes...Nordic/Viking wear....The theme is Lions Liking Vikings...  Thanks so much for your help!!!  Lion Dorene Hall, District G Contests & Awards
